Wind farm Oldenbroker Feld I: Foundation construction in preparation for the construction of an EnVentus turbine

Projekt Ökovest GmbH receives approval for adding 43.2 MW of wind power in the municipality of Ovelgönne.

The windy Niederort site, for which the Projekt group is already planning a new 100 MVA transformer station to connect further repowering sites, comprises six approved Vestas V162 EnVentus-7.2 MW turbines with a hub height of 121 meters. The expected annual energy yield of 130,000 MWh will cover the energy needs of over 43,000 electric vehicles or an average of 23,000 households of three or more people.

"Trust obliges, and in line with our guiding principle of creating value with wind, we have reached another milestone in many years of cooperation with the landowners and the municipality," says Heike Kröger, Managing Partner of Projekt Ökovest.

"Thanks to the broad support we received from the responsible approval authority, the district of Wesermarsch, we were able to obtain the permit at the new "German speed" within just 10 months," says Ubbo de Witt from the general contractor Projekt GmbH.
