Projekt Firmengruppe • 30 April 2024
The German Earth Overshoot Day fell on May 4 in 2023. Three Earths would be needed if all countries consumed as many natural resources and produced as many emissions per capita as Germany [1].
A further Vestas EnVentus V 150 5.6 MW has been approved for the Oldenbroker Feld wind farm in the municipality of Ovelgönne.
The expected annual energy yield will cover the average electricity consumption of 6,000 4-person households with renewable energy. Thanks to the approval in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) shortly before the international Earth Day, the energy state of Lower Saxony[2] is making a further contribution to achieving independence from fossil fuels.
"We are delighted that our long-standing commitment to the region and good cooperation with the landowners has led to the success of another project. We create sustainable solutions that will benefit future generations”, said managing partners Heike Kröger and Ubbo de Witt.
